Our True National Pastime - Paying for Fake Feel-Good Emotions

Jun 24, 2025
When we go to the movie, we consciously know that the story we're about to watch is fake. The fake story makes us feel good and moves our emotions for us, without us having to do anything personally. In the past, it was us as humans, who had to develop the courage plus a plan of action, to move our emotions ourselves.

For example, if we wanted a romance to start or if we  wanted to engage in a big adventure halfway across the world (400 hundred years ago), we would have to take action ourselves, make a plan and fly out the door. If we wanted some big emotional adventure in our life, it wasn't long ago that it was us who had to initiate it.

In our ever-increasing lazy state of living (which isn't really living, by the way) we can simply pay $20 at the movies and have our emotions generated for us, via a fake feel-good movie narrative. Psychology even shows that whether we watch an emotionally fulfilling adventure on the screen or we live it out in real time, the same parts of our brain are electrically excited, and the same feelings are experienced. This effect has caused the average person's obsession with experiencing fake feel-good narratives, in exchange for a fee. We don't need to lead an amazing life anymore, we can just buy almost any fake narrative we desire, which makes us "feel" like we're living an amazing life. That's why "fee" is the first word in "feeling". These lazy shortcuts always come with a fee, as our soul is the real cost of us always grabbing at the lowest hanging fruit in life.

Unfortunately, our general obsession with fake narratives, which we're willing to pay for (in order to feel good about our shitty and often meaningless existences) doesn't really end with purchasing a movie ticket. Our political system is based on the exact same premise and exploits the same inherent human weakness.....which is mental and physical laziness. (a general fear of hard work)

When we pay taxes, this is the exact exchange we're participating in. The taxpayer is going to willingly participate in the exchange, but only if the perfect fake-feel good narrative is provided to them in return. This is why politics is all scripted, between competing parties, as to what massive lie is going to keep the business of government open for another 4 years. It's like Hulk Hogan vs Randy Macho Man Savage.....they're not really enemies, they split the money on the bus, as they travel to the next town.

That's what government really is. It's a store where the mentally and physically lazy of our society pick the best fake narrative, in exchange for having 25%-60% of their income ripped out of their bank accounts every year. If the fake feel-good narrative is what the public wants to hear at that time, the exchange is mostly voluntary. Government is a store where lazy people get to pick between what fake-feel good stories they want to purchase, in exchange for large portions of their income.

Politics are often said to be a competition between the best liars and there's no real argument to be made against that statement.....as most voters are satisfied customers, as long as you tell them the exact lies they want to hear. Those lies often revolve around "keeping the voter/purchaser safe" from the threat of the day. (a new virus, another country, other bad things, the other side, the fabricated enemy of the week etc.)

As with all mentally and physically weak people, they're just like the movie goers..........they want some fake feel-good emotions to be felt in their often meaningless lives, without having to put out the effort personally to create those emotions themselves. I know that sounds harsh but look at what's happening in the world right now. It's all fueled by the soulless voter seeking out the best liar, who tells them the lies they want to hear.

The most popular lie is, "this time it will be different" and then what follows is the description of, "how it will be different". Then it's quickly discovered to be another lie but that doesn't matter to most folks. After the lies become obvious once again much of the public still clings to the lies that made them feel better. That's when the public starts to make excuses for the liars, who told them the lies they wanted to hear. (he's playing 5D chess, it's the art of the deal, he's been given bad advice again, it's hard to turn this big ship around, it will take more time, trust the plan, be patient more lies are coming) Making excuses for the liar who told them the lies they demanded, is easier on the fragile human ego than admitting..........."I like lies and liars because then I can blame everything else, other than my fear of hard work, in regards to really solving these problems".

In the US people cheered for their DOGE refund cheques, the elimination of their income tax plus the Epstein files.......and yet all they got was war, the slow creep of a Palantir social credit system and AI manufactured cancer vaccines designed to finish off anyone still walking above ground.

Just look at what happened during COVID as well, as a prime example of people falling in love with a lie because it made them feel good about their empty lives. You had people being told that they were heroes for injecting poison into themselves. Those folks were riding high, like a real movie star, for the first time in their lives. Finally, their turn in the limelight had arrived. They branded themselves on social media as "saviors" and protectors of the weak... with the phrase "Fully Vaccinated". And that's the exchange I'm talking about. The government sold the lie the people wanted to hear, and therefore the store of government stayed open and posted record profits.....and still is.

It doesn't matter where you lived during COVID, your government set the entire stage, so that this sort of person could feel like a hero, when really....they were being led into a trap that was baited with fake feel-good emotions. That again is the exchange lazy people are looking for. Give me some low hanging fruit to pull down into my basket and I'll be on my merry way....because picking the lowest hanging fruit always takes less effort.

It is these folks that happily volunteer large portions of their income, in exchange for making life seem way more exciting than it really is. Where else can "suckers" be rebranded as "heroes", other than inside the system I speak of? Yes, many people did what they were told during COVID, poisoning themselves and their family on cue......and then bingo, bango, bongo.......they're instantly the talk of the town and the most celebrated in the area. Most humans love lies, as long as the lies make them feel good because creating those amazing emotions through real life effort takes way too much work for the Joe and Jane Coffee Shops of the world. When you're too lazy and weak to make good things happen in your own life (where you would be legitimately branded as a real hero, by people who know what a real hero is) it means that the only other option is to hunt down some feel-good lie-ariha to purchase. Stop purchasing a fake life and go live something more real.

We do this all the time as a society, without even really recognizing it. Women with fake breasts get a big emotional charge for appearing to have a firm set under their clothing, but it's fake......and of course they had to pay for it. Steroids for men, same thing. Let me purchase a fake feel-good story of a better body off the steroid dealer, down at the local gym. I'll buy some Ozempic and purchase another fake narrative that comes with big emotional pay offs. I'll inject some poison into myself to protect everyone else's grandma. (that fake narrative purchase can cost you your life unfortunately) We buy rebellious tattoos, while working soul destroying/conformist jobs.......and yet the rebellious tattoos and rebel clothing only help us purchase a life we'll never really experience. Why has our national pastime turned into buying a good life made of lie-arhia, instead of putting in the hard work?

I've done lots of this as well, until I got really tired of trying to buy my feel-good emotions, as compared to trying to generate those emotions through hard work. We've all been there to some extent. The solution is seeing all this happening in real time, in almost everything our society is doing at the moment. After that, just stop trying to purchase your emotional highs and fake feel-good emotions off the free masonic spinner rack of lazy options. Hard work is the cure. Just be a real hero in your real life. When you do that, you won't be so titillated when the next lie and liar come around the corner, promising to make you feel good....for pennies on the dollar.
